MOSAIC Affiliate Program for Student Groups

What does being a MOSAIC Affiliate mean for my student group?

Aside from all the benefits listed below, your group will be able to get extra support from MOSAIC whenever you need it. We provide support such as advising, event planning, and publicity resources that you won't get anywhere else. As an Affiliate, you can also qualify for any of our funding opportunities. With our support, being a MOSAIC Affiliate will give you that extra-added edge to being a successful, well lead and organized student group on the San José State University campus.

How does my group qualify to be an Affiliate?

Your group's missions, goals, and services must focus on addressing cultural, ethnic or racial issues and/or whose focus is on encouraging diversity and inclusion. Your group must also understand and support the general mission and purpose of MOSAIC.

The benefits of being a MOSAIC Affiliate:

  • Space for meetings of up to 40 during office and after hours
  • Alternate source of funding to assist in your programs that relate to diversity
  • Support and advising in planning your events and programming
  • Some general resources such as printing, faxing, and copying
  • Ideas and ways for you to collaborate with other student groups
  • Advertising for your events
