"Spartan Success" Certificate

The Spartan Success Series

Our workshops are designed for the busy college student.  They are interactive and promote success in the classroom and in life.  Learn what it takes to succeed!

We offer the Bronze, Silver, and Gold level certificates (all for FREE!).  Participate in at least 4 of the described workshops and receive a Bronze Certificate.  Attendance at 6 workshops will gain the Silver Certificate.  The Gold Certificate can be obtained by joining 8 workshops.  Of course, attendance at any workshop will earn you knowledge to thrive in college. 

An RSVP for these workshops is highly encouraged.  There is limited space and guaranteed seating is only available if you register.  However, you can always stop by the day of the program and see if any spaces are still available.  Snacks, refreshments, and prizes will be provided at many of the workshops.  Sign-up for the workshops will be available on-line soon.  Until then, just show up to the workshops and visit this site often for any changes.

Power Planner: Become Highly Productive And Efficient By Optimal Planning And Time Managing

This is an advanced time-management workshop for people who use planners or are considering using a planner (e.g., Outlook, paper, PDA, smart phone, ect.).  A planner can do much more for you than just remind you about due days and meetings -- it is actually a powerful tool to reduce stress, increase self-confidence, be productive, and project a professional & successful image.  Learn how to use a weapon you already have and evaluate your time management and planning skills. Help Me!  I Have Test Anxiety!

Have you ever gone into a test well prepared and then when you sat down, you couldn't remember a thing?  Does your heart start to race like a wild horse and your palms start to sweat?  Then you may have test anxiety.  Test Anxiety is normal, but you can control it.  Spend 60 minutes of your time, play Tic Tac Testing, and make the test taking experience more pleasant than you can ever remember it.

Concentration Café
